Frequently Asked Questions...

Do I have to be good at art to do this?

An open mind, and willingness to take risks are all you need for these experiences.

What should I expect to invest in this art experience?

The investment depends on the type of class, the teacher, what supplies are needed, how many people are in the class, and the location. Because there are many variables, the prices are not set. Art experiences can start at $189.00 per person for a gathering of two. This is the starting rate are for a two and half hour class. Please contact us for details.

How do I decide what to do for my art experience?

There are a lot of fun things to do at Artists for Hire! Contact us and we will send you a questionnaire to help you create the right experience for you and your group.

Should I bring art supplies?

In general, we provide art materials. This changes if you have a personal preference for art supplies or if the class calls for you to bring personal memorabilia like pictures, postcards, etc. We will always have extra materials on hand.

What should I expect the day of the workshop?

For a regular art class, wear or bring clothing that can tolerate glue, paint or pastel.  If you are going on an outdoor art adventure, clothing will depend on the weather and activity and will be specified prior to the class. Snacks will be available. Expect to have a great time, and learn something new!

I’m pretty good at art, is there a place for me?

Absolutely! Our artists are well known in their field and offer an experience that fits the needs of the individual or group. Our classes can be just the thing to get out of a creative rut or expand what you are already doing.

Where will my class be held?

Your experience could be held on top of a mountain, in your hotel, at one of our artists studios, or floating down a river. We work with you to get this just right.
